INSTRUCTION


Special Task: Angpao Design
In this task, we must choose between Angpao Design or Stickers Design. I decided Angpao Design Competition which was organized by Jaya Grocer. 

Week 11

I did some discussions with my teammate and we came out with different ideas, so we decided to do our own design first and gave each other some advice. I try to apply the repetition of design principles, by creating different movements of the rabbit.

I drew out the rabbits with different positions and aligned them, since the background is a little empty so I decided to put some flowers and fireworks. For the space at the lower and upper parts, my teammate used coins in her design so after making the discussion, I created the pattern of coins by using the shape tool and combined them together.

I tried another design as I wanna try to put some words like 2023 or happy Chinese New Year, and reused the same images but with different compositions.

Week 13
After getting feedback from Mr. Vinod, I gathered the rabbits in a circle which somehow refers to the theme of togetherness as the designs before are not related to the theme. I also put the word 2023 using ITC Garamond Std and behind the Angpao is the word "Happy Chinese New Year".

Feedback

Week 12
Bring all the rabbits together and replicate them and equivalent in size, the spaces can fill with the numbers. After placing the rabbits, see whether the coin's background is suitable to put or not.
Reflection

It was a very fun experience while doing this special task, I got to discuss it with my teammate and we exchanged ideas and gave feedback on each other work. Since we had only two weeks to submit, managing time is also important as we also had other final projects to do.
